We need to know about them from an esoteric perspective. Well, the topic of today’s article is How did Radha died?

Who Was Radharani / kishoriji?

As there is a wonderful verse in which Radharani’s parents are described:

“कीर्ति किशोरी, वृषभानु की दुलारी प्यारी,
अरज हमारी, सुकुमारी कान लीजै “

Radharani, who is the embodiment of Krishna’s love element, who is always engaged in divine rasa with Krishna in her Golokdham, incarnates on earth as the daughter of Goddess Kirti and Vrishabhanuji.

Radhaji was born on Ashtami Tithi in Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month, which today people celebrate with great enthusiasm in the name of Radhashtami. Radhaji was born in Rawalji (According to the great devotees and from scriptures). This place still exists today and devotees come here in large crowds.

Understanding Radhaji: Origin and Significance

Radha’s story begins in the tranquil village of Repali, where she was born to Vrishbhanu and Kirti Devi. Often celebrated as an incarnation of Goddess Laxmi, there are several narratives about her birth, each adding layers to her mystical persona. Some traditions suggest that, in fact, Radha and Rukmini (in Mathura) were manifestations of the same divine entity, underscoring her eternal connection with Krishna.

Radha holds a pivotal role in Hindu mythology, especially highlighted in the Radha Chalisa. As the most cherished of the gopis, she was central to the Ras Leela dances with Krishna, embodying the soul’s yearning to merge with the divine. Despite their deep bond, Radha and Krishna were destined for separation when Krishna embarked on a mission to vanquish the wicked Kansa.

This separation transcended the physical realm, illustrating the spiritual theme of eternal longing and devotion. Radha’s appeal to Krishna not to leave highlights her human desires, yet his departure underscored his divine mission. After fulfilling his destiny in Mathura, Krishna invited Radha to join him, but she chose the path of familial duty over reunion, adding a layer of selflessness to her character.

In essence, Radha represents the profound connection between the mortal and the divine, embodying unconditional love, devotion, and the eternal quest for spiritual union. Her story continues to inspire countless devotees, emphasizing devotion over desire, and illustrating that true love transcends even separation.

When Krishna left Vrindavan at the age of 11, he set out to fulfill his main objective, which was to establish religion/truth.

Radha and Krishna’s separation took place when Krishna departed from Mathura due to his crucial mission to defeat his sinister uncle, Kansa. This departure wasn’t merely a physical one; it also carried deep symbolic meaning. It portrayed the soul’s yearning for unity with the divine presence.

Even though Radha made efforts to persuade Krishna to remain, her attempts were ultimately unsuccessful. Krishna’s departure was driven by a greater purpose, tied to his divine role as an incarnation with responsibilities to fulfill. This separation underscores the profound spiritual narrative within their story.

Krishna approached Radha’s marriage with respect and sensitivity, valuing the deep spiritual bond they shared. He prioritized her well-being, ensuring her married life remained joyful and harmonious. By doing so, he safeguarded Radha’s peace of mind, demonstrating genuine care for her happiness and stability.

How did Radha Died?

This is a very serious, compassionate and painful story. The thing is such that when Krishna left Vrindavan for Mathura at the age of 11, it seemed as if the condition of Vrindavan had changed. All the trees and plants had started withering, the Gopis should lament, the mood of mother Yashoda and father Nand was also not good.

After Krishna’s departure, the lives of all the people of Braj took a different turn. Everything had become quiet. And in that too, Radhaji’s condition was very sad.

A few years later, when Shri Krishna was ruling in Dwarka, Radhaji, she spent her life as his maid, but no one came to know about this. Radhaji was now leaving from there also.

Without telling anyone, she started moving towards a deserted forest. But Radha and Krishna are one and the same, so Krishna had to know. So Krishna also started following him.

Now Radhaji wanted to leave her body, then she said to Shyamsundar who was coming behind: “Kanha! Will you not play the flute?” Then Shyamsundar Shri Krishna comes to know that this is Radhaji’s last wish, then Shri Shri Krishna plays such a tune with his flute that no one has played till date and no one will be able to play in future.

Hearing such tune, Radhaji Shri Kishoriji leaves her body and goes to her eternal abode Goloka.

Radha’s departure is not merely a tale of physical separation; it serves as a profound symbol in the realm of divine love. Her leaving highlights the depth of longing and an unfulfilled union, representing the trials true devotion often endures.

In breaking his flute, Krishna underscores the immense emotional turmoil, emphasizing that certain expressions of love are rendered irrelevant without the beloved. This act illustrates the idea that divine love transcends physical presence and continues to thrive in spiritual devotion.

Their story reminds us that genuine love goes beyond earthly constraints, manifesting as an eternal connection between the divine and the devotee. Radha’s departure embodies the notion that true love perseveres, existing eternally in a spiritual dimension regardless of physical separation.

According to the Garga Samhita and the Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Radha’s story concludes with her departure from her home following Krishna’s exit. She ventured into the Kadli forest, leaving behind an illusionary form of herself known as Chaya Radha, or her “shadow,” in Barsana. This mystical version remained in place as a representation of her presence.

Last moments of Shri Radhaji

In her last moments, Radha was significantly weakened. During their final meeting, Lord Shri Krishna stood before her. Despite Krishna’s plea, Radha refused, as Krishna himself recounted.

Radha’s only wish in response to Krishna’s appeal was to hear him play the flute one last time. Complying, Sri Krishna played a haunting tune on the flute.

During this final meeting, Radha gently turned down Krishna’s plea, as he later recounted. Immersed in the melody of the flute, Radha peacefully left her mortal body.
