I will tell! I will give you the answer to this right away, but do not make stupid stories by applying your own logic just by looking at the number of Krishna’s sons. Let me tell you in detail about the sons of Krishna.

Shri Krishna had 80 sons.

Oh God. Did Shri Krishna have so many sons? Oh dear me.

Yes, Shri Krishna had 80 sons. Actually, Shri Krishna had 16108 queens/wives. You must have raised some questions like was Krishna really God? Who has so many wives, so many children, he must be a true worldly person, how can God?

When Krishna was on this earth, it was the time of Dwaparayuga, brother. And the system of that time was quite different from Kaliyuga, not much but a little different and even better than today’s times.

Shri Krishna and his married life

It is mentioned in many places in the scriptures of our Sanatan Dharma, like if you read Padma Purana, Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapurana, Shiv Purana, Vishnu Purana etc. then you will come to know that the person whom you thought was an ordinary king or human being. The supreme controller of society is none other than God.

It is Narayana who nurtures the world and holds the conch, chakra, mace and lotus.

In Hindu tradition, people also know Krishna by the name of Yogeshwar. Some consider him as their guru, some as their friend, some as their husband and some as their friend. He is the Supreme Being and without knowing about Him, it is not appropriate for ordinary people to take Him for granted.

He was the husband of 16108 wives, yet he was a perfect celibate.

After the war of Mahabharata, what did Shri Krishna say when Guruputra Ashwatthama released Brahmastra on the son in the womb of Uttara Devi? remember? Hey leave it! Let me tell you: Krishna had said that if I am a staunch celibate then this Brahmastra should be destroyed immediately and Uttara’s womb should be protected.

If you read Bhagwat Mahapuran, you will get many meanings on it.

So it is confirmed that Krishna was not an ordinary man, he was God himself, is and will always be.

Shri Krishna had 8 main queens. And the remaining 16100 women were saved by Shri Krishna by killing Narakasura and when no one was accepting them, Shri Krishna accepted them all as his wives.

His 8 main queens each had 10 sons.
